BRAINTREE, MA (Jan. 6, 2022) — Wagner College, founded in 1883 in Staten Island, NY, has selected the FERPA/HIPAA-compliant Merlin digital asset management (DAM) solution from Merlin Compliance, Inc., to manage and safeguard their multimedia digital content. Wagner joins a growing list of higher education organizations who have selected Merlin’s HIPAA DAM to assist in telling their story in both a secure and compliant way.

Through the implementation and use of a HIPAA DAM solution, internal challenges around content management and efficient asset distribution will be solved for the organization and its teams.

Merlin provides users with a powerful, flexible, and intuitive solution for fast and effective storage, indexing, searching, editing, retrieval, and distribution of digital assets both internally and externally. Merlin offers tools for access controls to ensure the right users see the right content and have access to the right tools for their task. The college’s purchase includes Merlin’s AI suite: Facial Recognition AI, Visual Similarity AI searching, Impact! virtual photo editor, and the newest innovative and ground-breaking NOMAD™ AI pure visual search.

“The biggest problem DAM users face today is the lack of quality metadata, and with text-based searching that can mean that an organization’s best content is undiscoverable,” said David Tenenbaum, CEO of MerlinOne, parent company of Merlin Compliance. “NOMAD™ uses a purely visual approach and gives all that content back to you.”

Merlin Compliance manages its private cloud SaaS services in a premiere, co-location facility with high security, generator backups, and multiple internet backbone connections which together provide customers with a 99.99% uptime guarantee.

Merlin Compliance, Inc., is an affiliated company of MerlinOne, Inc., based in Braintree, MA, which has been a leading DAM technology innovator and vendor of high-performance, highly scalable, mission-critical digital asset management solutions for business for nearly 30 years.
