Quincy, MA, July 15, 2014 – Cricket Media, which provides award-winning content for children, families and teachers around the world, selected Merlin Digital Asset Management System to store content from their print and online media outlets. Cricket Media staff uses web browsers to access their content at MerlinOne’s hosted SaaS facility.
Merlin X’s web client is based on a modular, plug-in architecture. Every toolbar button, palette, content view, and administration panel is a separate plug-in, so adding and removing workflow tools is easy. As part of the interface, users may customize their experience by rearranging palette items, open the items they most use, and hide items they do not need. The three-column default design may be collapsed to two columns or even a single column if desired. And palettes may be put anywhere.
Merlin is a complete digital asset management system that allows users to organize millions of stories, photos and other multimedia files using fast, precise searching with easy and flexible workflows. Access to Merlin is via thick or web clients.
