Quincy, MA May 1- New York City’s Mount Sinai Hospital, one of the oldest and largest teaching hospitals in the United States, has chosen the Merlin digital asset management system.

Merlin offers a complete modular user interface. Every toolbar button, palette, content view, and administration panel is a separate plug-in, so adding and removing workflow tools is easy. As part of the interface, users may customize their experience by rearranging palette items, open the items they most use, and hide items they do not need. The three-column default design may be collapsed to two columns or even a single column if desired. And palettes may be put anywhere.

Merlin hosted systems are a full, outsourced, digital asset management system offered as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). MerlinOne locates its systems in the United States in a top-notch co-location facility with high security, generator backups and multiple connections to Internet backbones and provides performance and uptime guarantees, and complete redundancy. Merlin customer service staff directly supports its customers’ end-users.

Merlin is a complete digital content management system that allows users to organize millions of photos and other multimedia files using fast, precise searching with easy and flexible workflows. Merlin’s industry leading video search technology allows users to actually search for words spoken in the audio tracks.
